November 2020 Shelter Donations

Cuddle Clones Just Donated 59,916 Meals To Shelter Pets!

In this time of great need in our country and the world, we are reaching out to do what we can to fill a bit of that need with hope. Shelters across the country are experiencing high pet surrender rates as families struggle to find the resources to properly care for their pets. In a bid to be able to do something to help the struggling shelters during this pandemic, we have set up a campaign to provide customers with masks and shelters with meals.

During this Holiday Season, launching new products like our Holiday Face Masks gives us an opportunity to offer cute and fun mask options to people while also being able to provide help to shelters. This campaign is set up to make sure that a portion of each and every mask purchased is donated to a shelter to be used in providing them with much-needed meals.

Connecting with the community, we are taking recommendations for shelters that are in the most need right now. If you know of a shelter that could really use the help during this pandemic, please email your recommendation to

The shelters that have been donated to for the Month of November are:

One of this month’s shelters that we are donating to is Berea Animal Rescue Friends in Berea, Ohio. Berea Animal Rescue Friends (ARF) is a no-time-limit animal shelter that rescues stray and homeless companion animals, provides medical care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and housing, and prepares animals for adoption into loving homes. They began as a grassroots organization in a family’s garage and through hard work and the dedication of volunteers answering a real need in the community –  The shelter was incorporated in 1987, and has now become one of the largest shelters in the region.

As a no-time-limit facility they do not limit the length of stay for animals in their care, and are dedicated to finding them appropriate, loving homes for as long as it may take. In the case of one cat, it took four years to find a suitable placement, and it’s not terribly uncommon to house animals for six months to over a year. While some shelters put a limit on the amount that can be spent on medical care or treatment for an individual animal, ARF does not maintain medical spending limits. As long as the prognosis is positive for recovery and a reasonably pain-free life, they invest as much as necessary to treat the animals in our care. This also includes the many senior animals they accept and pull from other shelters, despite the fact that medical conditions may be more prevalent. We think Berea is doing amazing things for animals in need and we applaud them for their hard work and dedication to such a worth cause. If you’d like to help support the shelter please consider donating here.

We also donated to our recurring shelter partner The Arrow Fund.

A private donation was made through their websites. At their current factor of money to meals, the total is 59,916 meals for shelter pets! We are especially thankful for the people who sent in their nominations, helping them better connect to communities across the country.

Please continue sending in your nominations for the coming months as we stand together to battle the effects of this deadly virus on our country, its people, and their pets. A portion of mask sales will continue to be donated for as long as mask supplies last so be sure to order yours soon.

Make sure to also check out last month’s blog for more information on the shelters we donate to.
