3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Shelter Spotlight

Each month, we donate to 10 animal shelters nominated by you. One of the shelters this month is 3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue from Morganville, New Jersey. After reading their nomination email they sent to blog@cuddleclones.com, we were so happy we could help them out! 

ABOUT 3 HEARTS 4 PAWS

3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue was founded with love and passion and is dedicated not only to the lives of those they save, but also the lives that are lost. They are a non-profit organization from New Jersey comprised of volunteers who give selflessly and open their hearts and their homes as a stepping stone to the permanent home every rescue animal deserves. They don’t like to consider themselves a shelter…each of their rescues are cared for in warmth of their foster homes, as they help animals on their journey waiting for the place they can call their own. 

They are primarily a canine rescue organization, pulling dogs from high kill shelters across the United States. Their goal is to save as many lives as possible and to bring awareness to those around them of the pain and suffering that occurs in puppy mills across the country. 

HOW THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IMPACTED THE SHELTER

The pandemic restrictions have confronted them with severe financial challenges. Covid has certainly put a damper on vital fundraising events and having puppies at adoption events. Both of which were possible before covid and brought in a good amount of money for the organization. Because of this, 3 Hearts 4 Paws has been relying more on their volunteers to spread the word of their foster pups through social media to find their forever homes.
