Pet Appreciation Week 2022 is June 5th through June 11th, and in our humble opinion, it is one of the single greatest weeks of the year! We’ll be honest, we feel like every week is Pet Appreciation Week here at Cuddle Clones. That’s why our first Shelter Spotlight is shining on  Kitty Up Cat Rescue. This Dallas, GA based nonprofit performs the admirable work of finding forever homes for the neglected and unwanted cats in their area.

Spring is upon us and as we celebrate its arrival, we must also prepare ourselves for the coming April showers. Before the May flowers sprout, you and your pups have to weather the rain, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. As the wet season approaches, your pups are eagerly waiting for you to let them outside to jump in a puddle or walk in the rain. On the other hand, some dog breeds prefer to stay dry, so we compiled some tips for you to best care for your pet this April.

They say March comes in like a lion and out like lamb, and that cold, unpredictable, and sometimes downright scary weather can be dangerous for stray and homeless pets. Kind samaritans surrender strays to animal shelters and populations swell, leaving them in desperate need of costly supplies and resources. Plus,  kitten season is just around the corner, adding an entirely different dimension of need!

We cannot begin to thank the fine folks at Canine Journal enough for this glowing review. Pets are family - period. Their presence in our lives brings a warmth, comfort, and joy that makes every day better just for being part of it. Creating a Cuddle Clone of a beloved family pet is our greatest honor, and we will always strive to deliver the same level of excellence for every customer that trusts us with their best friend’s memory!

Founded in 2011 in Mission, KS, Unleashed Pet Rescue & Adoption is a licensed non-profit focused on improving the lives of homeless pets and ending the societal stigma against bully breeds. Given the term bully breed is  rooted in violence and aggression, it’s all too clear to see just how important and powerful their mission is.

Unlike their omnivorous canine cohorts, cats are carnivores. In fact, according to the ASPCA,  cats are obligate carnivores. This means that cats  require meat in their diet to survive, specifically the high levels of protein and taurine meat provides. In short, your cat should not be fed a vegetarian or vegan diet. So then why do cats eat houseplants, especially considering the huge number of houseplants poisonous to cats?
